Right of withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal, Returns & Exchanges at StatusLux

As a customer of StatusLux (Victor Fedyayev), you are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with §§ 312g, 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Additionally, we aim to offer you a transparent and customer-friendly process for returns and exchanges. Please note the following terms and conditions.

1. Your Statutory Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (StatusLux - Victor Fedyayev, Hans-Böckler-Straße 21, 44787 Bochum, Germany, E-Mail: statuslux@statuslux.de, Phone: +491602461545) by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments we have received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.

Costs of Return:

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. Exception: If you return the goods via our provided return portal (see point 8) and the return takes place within Germany, we will cover the costs of the return. In all other cases (e.g., if you independently choose a shipping service provider or for returns from outside the EU/third countries), you bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.

3. Extended Return and Exchange Conditions at StatusLux

In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we offer you the option to return or exchange items within 14 days of receipt. This period begins on the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, received the goods.

For a smooth process, please follow the procedure described under point 8.

4. Costs of Return

  • Within Germany: Returns are free of charge for you, provided you use our provided return label.
  • Within the EU and from other countries: The direct costs of the return are borne by the customer.

5. Conditions for Returning Flawless Goods

Returns of flawless goods will only be accepted if the items are unused and undamaged and meet the following criteria:

  • The original packaging is undamaged.
  • All labels and tags are present and intact.
  • There are no signs of use, damage, or foreign odors (e.g., perfume, smoke).
  • The goods are complete and clean.

After receipt and successful inspection of your return, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days to the original payment method used (e.g., credit card, PayPal, Klarna, Stripe). Upon request, the refund can also be made by bank transfer (IBAN) or as a voucher.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.

6. Conditions for Returning Defective or Non-Conforming Goods (Warranty)

In the case of defective, damaged, or non-conforming items, customers are entitled to the statutory warranty rights according to § 437 BGB, specifically the right to:

  • Free supplementary performance (rectification or replacement delivery).
  • Reduction of the purchase price.
  • Withdrawal from the purchase contract and full refund.

Please inform us immediately after discovering the defect – ideally within 7 days of receiving the goods – by e-mail to statuslux@statuslux.de. Please attach photos of the defect if possible to enable quick processing.

We will confirm receipt of your notification and send you a pre-paid return label. The return of defective goods is of course free of charge for the customer.

The refund (in case of withdrawal) will also be made within 14 days after inspection of the item via the original payment method.

7. Exclusion from the Right of Withdrawal and Return

The right of withdrawal and the extended return conditions do not apply to:

  • Items that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery (e.g., for underwear, lingerie, and swimwear, if the protective film or hygiene seal has been removed or the item has clearly been worn and is therefore no longer flawless).
  • Goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual choice or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer (personalized or custom-made items).
  • Gift cards.
  • Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if you have expressly consented to us beginning the performance of the contract before the expiry of the withdrawal period and have confirmed your knowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal by your consent (if applicable).

8. Procedure for Returns

For a quick and uncomplicated return, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a return request: You can submit your return request in various ways:
  2. Receive return label: After confirming your request, we will send you the corresponding return label by e-mail.
  3. Package item(s): Carefully package the item(s), ideally in their original packaging, and attach the return label clearly visible.
  4. Shipping: Drop off the package at a collection point of the respective shipping service provider.
  5. Confirmation & Refund: After receipt and inspection of the goods, you will receive a confirmation and the refund of the purchase price according to our conditions.
